Dark Web News is searching for writers who can provide awesome, original content for our readers. We’re currently accepting unsolicited submissions as well as regular contributors.
What we’re looking for:
Well-written original content, namely:
- Narrative stories
- Opinion pieces
Do you have a unique story or a different perspective on current events to share? If so, we want to hear from you!
What we’re not looking for:
News pieces. While we appreciate well-written news pieces as much as any other news outlet, we are not currently accepting news article submissions.
Content we’ve already covered. Unless your article brings something substantially new, we will not consider content covering the same angle on a topic we’ve already posted.
Content that has already been published. If your content has already been published, such as on your own blog or through another news outlet, we cannot accept your submission. Likewise, this applies to content that is currently under consideration for being published elsewhere.
Plagiarized content. We do not accept work that is not original, and we check all submissions for plagiarism.
Topics: At the moment, we’re most interested in submissions relating to the following categories:
- Darknet Markets (DNMs)
- Law Enforcement
We will also consider content that matches the theme of our overall website, so be sure to read around to get familiar with it!
Writing Style: AP Style.
Length: As much as it takes to wholly yet succinctly make your point. Generally speaking, 1,000 – 2,000 words would be appropriate for the content we’re seeking.
Images: We will provide our own images for your content.
For unsolicited submissions, email us at [email protected] with your name (preferably a pseudonym) and bio and the article attached as a Word document (.doc or .docx). You are also welcome to email us with a topic pitch to see if we would be interested in publishing your content before you write it.
If you’re interested in being a regular contributor, contact us at [email protected] and tell us a bit about yourself and why you would be a good fit on the Dark Web News team!
